NewCo's Affiliate Partner in Boston, Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC), the region’s largest technology trade association. MassTLC, a 501(c)(6) non-profit, is dedicated to accelerating innovation and growth across the regional ecosystem. Tom is the President and CEO of MassTLC and an active leader in the community, serving on public and private boards ranging from the state’s Board of Higher Education to MassRobotics, a newly formed innovation center focused on the growth of smart, connected machines.
NewCo’s affiliate partner in Canada is Cossette, a leader in integrated marketing communications. Cossette is led by Brett Marchand, who joined Cossette 10 years ago, after successful stints as both an ad agency executive and a client marketer. He has been involved in highly acclaimed advertising campaigns that have built brands and driven business results. Throughout his career, Brett has been closely involved in advertising industry leadership and policy. He was a Board member of TELUS Fund, sat on the Board of Advertising Standards Canada and chaired the Institute of Communication Agencies. During his time as ICA chair, Brett sparked a rejuvenation of the organization, which included hiring a new CEO, launching Canada’s first-ever Advertising Week, and a landmark new collective agreement with the Canadian actors’ guild, ACTRA.
NewCo's affiliate partner in London is London Business School, spearheaded by David Morris. David is the Head of Technology & Media Careers leading business development and relationship management within the Technology, Media, Telecoms, Venture Capital & Start-up sectors.
Prior to joining London Business School in January 2005, David gained experience of the start-up world at Global-Workplace.com where he worked on business development and client relationships before starting his own executive search company focusing on early stage technology companies.

Fernando Famanía Gastélum
NewCo's Affiliate Partner in Mexico City, ifahto, is an event production company with its roots in founder Fernando Famanía Gastélum’s time at Ibero-American University, where he and his brother were known for their party planning. Relaunched in 2005, ifahto has grown into one of Mexico’s leading event producers. A CPA by training, Fernando has worked with national and international brands like MTV, IAB Mexico, Poder Cívico, Sony Electronics, P&G, SPE Networks, Hasbro, Mexico City Government, among many other public and private entities.
NewCo’s Affiliate Partner in Miami is M+D, a firm that guides some of the world’s most influential media and technology companies on communications strategy, interactive content development, partnerships, and international policy. Co-founder of M+D, Sean McManus, was the original managing director of QuartzLive, the conferences and live events division of Quartz and director of programs at The Economist, leading content development for Economist Events in the Americas, including sponsored content and related digital media. Previously, he was a magazine editor; his work has appeared in the New York Times and New York magazine. Sean has a master’s degree in US history and was a teaching assistant for Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Jesper Carvalho Andersen
NewCo’s affiliate partnership in Portugal is a collaboration between Jesper Carvalho Andersen and imatch, a unique consultantcy. imatch works in the areas of innovation, marketing and sales and helps clients find creative solutions for their business challenges. Jesper is a founder and board member in retail, hospitality, art and alternative energy. He is Danish and has lived in Portugal since 1995. Jesper has specialized in sustainable growth and is a corporate culture enthusiast, so NewCo's movement caught his attention early on. As an entrepreneur, he worked and lived in eight European countries, always with a focus on global change. Brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti, Vista Alegre Atlantis and AudioNova/MiniSom were clients. He is a frequent speaker and consultant in corporate turnaround, corporate culture and omni-channel strategy.
